I'd say career benefits and prestige too. Other high paying companies are happy to recruit people from big tech companies.

The money isn't always great, compared to what you're supposed to do. But you get to say that you worked for that company in the past and a lot of (better) employers would love to hire employees from those companies. It's like extra proof that you actually know what you're doing and the 2nd employer doesn't have to verify anything, Google/FB/Microsoft/etc. already did!
