Hi all, I am interested in the Bachelor of Music at Tesu. I have a Bachelors in Sociology and Masters in Social Work. So this would be a second degree, and not career related. It's for my own personal interest so there is no rush on completing anything. Is there a path to completing it with the required Music credits. It looks like some do have to be transferred in. And is there any difference to this being a second degree. Also I still have residency in Pennsylvania so it would be considered in state for any tuition purposes. Thank you.

The problem you're going to have is that, being a second degree, you'll need 24 new credits in the AOS. So most of your music credits have to be new and TESU doesn't have them, and even if they did, they would be expensive.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

Thank you, the 24 credits is ok. I'm just having a hard time finding where I can take music courses to transfer in.

Most of my music courses were taken when I was completing my first degree. Community colleges offer the music theory and music history you will need.

Depending on the reasons for getting the TESU BA Music degree and your interests, previous music knowledge, the info on the addendum and template that's currently missing from this thread (we don't know the overall picture of your scenario or variables). I suggest the option of PLA the hard to find Music classes required for the major... You can get up to 15 credits, 3 for PLA class and 12 for the classes PLA for!
