Tesc BSBA progress check
#1
I realize I previously asked regarding a completely different subject. However, I've noticed in the recent posts how much I seem to have done for this degree, really only needing the business core and area of study I believe. My credits so far...

GER 1101 Hon Intensive beginning German 2 5cr
STA 2013 Statistical Methods 3cr
GER 2200 Interactive German Practice 3cr
GER 3300 Modern German Culture 3cr
IDH 2931 Ancient Greek Culture 3cr
Eco 2013 Principles of macroeconomics

state college:

ENC 1101 English comp 1 3cr
ENC 1102 English comp 2 3cr
MCB 2010 Microbiology 4 cr
PSY 1012 General Psychology 3 cr
HUN 2202 Normal and clinical nutrition 3 cr

BSC 2094 Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 4 cr
MAC 1101 College Algrebra 3 cr
COP 1006 Intro to programming concepts 3 cr
COP 2822 Web site development 3 cr
SPC 1608 Fundamentals of speech 3 cr
COP 2360 C# programming 3 cr
CGS 2545 Database management systems 3 cr

AP exams
Bio 5
US History 3
Music Theory 3

CLEP exams
US Govt 72
Humanities 60

IT certs
A+
Network+

Since it will likely come up, I will go ahead and mention I have zero interest in further IT/CS coursework/exams.

Am I correct that I'm a dozen or so tests away from the BSBA at Tesc?

Thank you for your time.

Just a quick look at your credits it seems you minimally need about 14 classes to complete your BSBA core. I'm not exactly sure how many gen ed classes you need or where your electives will fall. Looks like you will need to complete the following:

Human resources
Principles of management
Organizational behavior
Accounting 1 & 2
Microeconomics
Money and banking (or equivalent)
Strategic business management
Business law
Ethics (society or business)
Intro to marketing
Intro to business
Business or managerial communications
Into to finance

I also think you need a speech course somewhere in your general ed

All the classes I listed can be completed by CLEP, TECEP, Straighterline, Saylor or with penn Foster.
MBA - Western Governors 2019
BSBA - TESC 2014

CLEP/DSST:  Principles of Management 69 | Human Resource Management 64 | Introduction to Computing 466 | Principles of Marketing 67 | Organizational Behavior 61 | Management Information Systems 466 | Principles of Supervision 437 | Introduction to Business 434 | Business Ethics and Society 431 | Introductory Business Law 56 | Macroeconomics 54 | American Government 59 | Money & Banking 52 | English Composition

Straighterline:  Accounting I (89%) | Accounting II (75%) | Financial Accounting (82.5%) | Managerial Accounting (86.7%) | Business Communications (84%) | Microeconomics (87%) | Religions of the World (88.5%) | Organizational Behavior (93%)

Penn Foster: Finance (89%) | Strategic Business Management (97%)

ALEKS:  College Algebra (78%)

SPC 1608 Fundamentals of speech 3 cr should cover generic speech class

Forgot to mention that I may be conferred an AA from the local state college in December. Pending petition to count either AP music theory as music appreciation, or modern german culture as 'generic non-writing humanities'

You are right, didn't see your speech class.

Btw what BSBA are you going for? My list satisfies the general management core, you may need additional for the CIS.
