If you need more time to take some Sophia classes, consider asking UMPI for an enrollment deferral. That's what I did and they were Ok with it.

I would recommend against it and heres why:
I applied in MAR2023 to start 08MAY2023 at UMPI , and it took almost a month for my previous credits to be transferred in and evaluated, UMPI is small and the registrar's office has a team of like 3 people , and then certain courses not previously evaluated by a UoME school will have to be reviewed by academic deans / program heads/etc.
There are only three windows for graduation at UMPI , Spring, Fall, and Summer , and you must have all credits transferred in , completed, and accounted for before the graduation date. If you are in a Sophia course in the last 8 week session you need before graduation, that class could possibly not be transferred in at UMPI before the graduation date , which would mean you have to wait for the next graduation window to apply for graduation and get your degree.
So if you DO choose to do Sophia and YourPace, always keep in mind the possibility of a month or longer wait time for the course to be transferred in and posted to your transcript .

There's actually 6 degree conferrals a year at UMPI. Degrees are conferred at the end of each of the 6 sessions for YourPace students. There's 3 for on campus students as they attend full semesters.

They do! I graduated in March both times. So it was the end of Spring 1. There are 6 graduations a year for YourPace. There's 3 for on campus students.

Even though there is a discrepancy for butt-in-seat and the Your Pace students when graduating, it's still best to take all you can for transfers before you start at UMPI, you'll know where you stand and if you can transfer any more to max that transfer option before starting. It's still recommended to start UMPI once you have all your 90+ credits transferred in and maximized/optimized...
