Substance Abuse
#1
I took and passedSmile the Substance Abuse DSST exam yesterday, wanted to give future tester's a head's up. This was a difficult test. I used IC but also got the Cram101 (substance abuse by ayer's) study guide. I would definitely get the study guide or a book in addition to IC, do not think IC would have been enough.

My score Substance Abuse 400/446.

I am going to sign up next week. Did you study the new IC flash cards, or the old one for drug and alcohol abuse??

Sounds messed up!!! How long did you study exactly?

I studied the new IC for Substance Abuse, it was helpful but not sure I would have passed without also having the Study Guide. Happy that my next exam is a Clep Intro. to Sociology.

I do not have that study guide you are talking about, just IC and Petersons tests, and I am reading through some parts of the textbook for this class.

FYI: That questions you spoke of, abou Beer fermentation? It is not anywhere in the online review quetions for the textbook or highlighted at the end of chapter "reviews".

Sounds like a stupid, lets throw you a curve (random) kind of question. You would only have knon it had you either been a good gueser OR actully read that pat of the chapter on fermentation.

I just took this test tonight. I only studied the 3 peterson exams and also the drugs of abuse publication chart, which I found a link to on another thread. I feel really good about it. There were a lot of things on the test that were similar to the peterson test questions. Unfortunately, my school only has the paper version. So, I'll be waiting a couple of weeks on my scores.

Here is the link to that chart: Drugs of Abuse Publication, Chart

Good luck!
