As someone who is taking the class and about 1/2 way done, I'd just add this. Be very diligent when picking a mentor. I've hard the hardest time getting things graded on time, responses to emails, really anything helpful.....haha.

I have found Otto was responsive and quick on grading in the beginning and then sometimes slower to grade. The holidays did impact the course for me and the instructor as well.

Longenbach, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not a good option. I just haven't had much luck personally getting any info. It is a self guided course, but not what I was expecting really.

I figured I would ask this question here in the Capstone thread. I am debating on doing the Creative Project, but I don't see many people go that route. I am a glass artist and was thinking that it would make sense to do the 15 page paper and creative project on glass art. Is the creative project a similar work load as the normal research paper?

As of today I am 85% completed and have one more assignment. The capstone final paper with all edits and then I will see what my grade will be.
