I wonder why they only have two providers in the Approved provider category, and then everyone else is in Review Pending (including Study.com!)

The two providers are new and have only a handful of courses.
CMSLearn only has 1 course to be approved, with a equivalency transfer agreement.
Onlinedegree has 15 courses in total all approved with a course transfer agreement.

Hi bj, do you mind if I ask you what you think the significance/impact of this is? https://www.tesu.edu/academics/catalog/a...c-standing
What changed?
I emailed TESU asking my question so I will have a copy/record of it. Just curious to hear what you think about it.

There is no need to look at that academic requirement if you're one of the individuals who will transfer in 114 credits into the degree, the SOS-110 and the Capstone will take care of the requirement. Everyone who transfers credits in will not get an internal GPA until they do a course (with letter grades, not a TECEP - which is c/cr).
It just stipulates, if you or anyone who wants to graduate, must make at least a 2.0 or higher on the SOS-110 and the Capstone, whichever degree you go for, those are the two courses required. Depending on the degree, each capstone is different, some actually are like a mini thesis, others are just coursework/discussions/exams.
Final thought, just focus on the current courses you need to transfer into the degree. Then work on the remaining required TESU courses and ACE THEM!

Effective July 1, 2019, the University will be making important updates to policies, processes, quality assurance standards, curriculum requirements and tuition options for students. These changes are intended to ensure successful completion of students' academic program requirements, reinforce institutional quality assurance standards and provide potential tuition discounts.

No change for per-credit costs, only if you were in the comprehensive plan (or wanted to go on it).
