TESU - General Education electives
#1
What courses would qualify as General Education Electives for TESU?

Would History Courses like STUDY.COM  History 106  The Civil War and Reconstruction  qualify?

I need 3 more and I'm hoping I can add some simple courses from Study.com.   Im looking for courses with Smaller amounts of chapters.   I saw some education classes with under 80 segments.   Any help would be appreciated

Just to boil it down, after you look at the link, think about it this way: Natural Sciences (including some Computer Sciences), Math, Humanities (English, Communication, Art, Foreign Language, Religion, etc.), and Social Sciences (History, Psych, Sociology, PoliSci, etc.).

For the General Education Electives is states one needs 20 credits but TES-100 is waived for study.com which is only worth 1 credit. In the example page, it only list 6 classes worth 3 credits each (18 total). My question is is 6 -3 credits classes enough? Or do I need at least 19 credits to fullfill this section?
Also, if in this section I only complete 18 credits and 4 credits in the Understanding the Physical and Natural World, I’ll be short a few credits from the 120 total needed. So is that ok or do I need to have 120 total credits to graduate?
If those few credits are needed, could I take another free elective to fulfill the 120 total or would they have to be in one of the two areas (Gen. ed. And/or Natural world)?
Also, in the Area of Study: General Mgmt, for the 4 UL classes, could 1 be BUSINESS 313- Organizational Communication? I wasn’t sure because it’s a BUS class and not one of the 4 Prefixes mentioned in the area of general mgmt.

The cornerstone is no longer waived unless you already had the waiver applied last summer.

There is some flexibility in how credits are distributed between the different sections but you do absolutely need at least 120 total credits.

It's not hard to get a few extra credits in free electives since Sophia offers 2 free 1 credit courses.

Here's a link with more info on the free Sophia courses and a few others:

The way I read it, TES-100 is included in the count of 20, so you still need 20. Your academic eval should be pretty clear on this. If you aren't already a student, with the cornerstone waiver shown on your academic eval, then you definitely WON'T be getting the cornerstone waived.
