Hello guys, today I finally received my diploma at home and I feel happy and at the same time bad, I feel that this diploma for everything I fought for and the money I invested in that document looks very false, not even the signatures are made with a pen, for everything what you pay to that university the diploma looks more than a simple copy and paste. Nor does it have a registration number that I can verify my diploma, to make it more original and to top it off, on cheap letter-size paper. My Latin American diplomas are more original than this diploma. I'm able to use Photoshop and make my own diploma better than this one, without having to fight so much for a simple copy and paste paper, my wife told me this diploma look vary fake.

'Just remember that no matter the look of the physical diploma, the degree will always look its best on your resume/CV'
I will add that no one I know with a US diploma (from many different US colleges/universities) have a registration number on it. Official transcripts are used for validity when needed. Standard letter sized diplomas are becoming the norm as well, and the days of them being individually signed won't return (both due to current printing technologies).
The most important thing actually is getting the credits, diploma, and transcript for your completed degree. As long as you have a record/trail of credits that can be verified by a Regionally Accredited institution, that's all that matters - You have completed a 'real' degree. Most companies or countries won't really care how your diploma looks on paper... it's not like anyone is going to sign a few hundred signatures each semester they hold graduations, times have changed, you've graduated and fulfilled the requirements for graduation, congrats again!

Thanks bjcheung77, the problem is that where I live, they investigate the diplomas and their authenticity. The way in which the TESU diplomas are displayed seems to be pure copy paste, anyone would doubt the legibility of the document in the way they present it. I paid the 10 dollars that they ask for to validate the diploma, they gave me a digital pdf with a registration number. I am going to apostille the diploma because the Spanish University requires it from me to be accepted.

In the US, the diploma is not important - it's the transcript that is the important thing. The diploma itself is never used for verification purposes.

These days, I think most US diplomas are probably not signed with a pen. I guess they figure out once it's in a frame, nobody will notice/care. Because that's what US diplomas are for: framing. The transcript is what matters.

One quick search brings up a legitimate TESU diploma example. The handwritten signature question would've been easily answered by someone from the school, I'm sure! Over here we verify things by digital records, not by eyeballs which are easily deceived. TESU can't be expected to keep tabs on other countries' way of doing things; it's a student responsibility.

I'm not sure if it's because the example is a master's degree or if something changed in the last seven-plus years, but that degree looks bigger and nicer than mine. On my degrees, the TESU font at the top looks a little stretched and weird. While I'm perfectly happy to have graduated, I was a bit surprised by the look, which is just a bit "off."
