I didn't ask. It's just how things ended up when I graduated. My GPA sat at 2.0 until I conferred, then it shot up to 2.66 and the "E" appeared.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree with a previous statement. Try to get that GPA raised by taking other courses towards your BA. You’ll need a 2.0 - 2.5 to get into some grad schools anyway. I’m assuming the first end goal is a BA/BS? If yes the AAS is irrelevant, but you still have time to complete both. Where do you live? If you are part of the Western Undergrad program I can recommend about 42 credits of easy A’s you can take.

The first goal is to get a BA/BS like you said. I currently live in PA but I would be interested to hear about your choice of classes.

I'm going to see if Financial Aid can pay for my course through Pierpont. I might be eligible for a Pell Grant or something. Thank you guys for all the suggestions and support. I'll work on posting when I'm not angry and stressed out. If that doesn't work I have plenty of options to choose from to take the class elsewhere and transfer it in.

No reason to waste your Pell on the high tuition at Pierpont. You can use your Pell for the same courses at NMJC or Rio Salado and possibly have grant money left over to spend on alternative credits. What BA/BS do you want? Obvious course choices would GenEds that you are confident of getting an A in or AOS courses that you would benefit from having an grade for.

Agree with davewill on the cost - It is hard to beat the bargain cost of the NM schools (for in or out of state), they offer second term summer courses as well (4 weeks courses starting in July)

I'm just waiting on my Financial Aid to see what they do or don't award me. Hopefully, by Wednesday of next week, I'll know more. I was looking at WGU's Cybersecurity program or their Data analytics program but I wasn't hard set on either yet.

If you live in PA the WUE won’t help you. But you can register as an RBA student at Marshall and do upper division course work at $669 a course in 8-week increments if you have PELL. Continue to complete gen Ed’s through ACE partners. The WVUROCKS courses are fairly easy.
The course I was going to suggest will be too expensive.

I have tried looking for a summer semester class for English or Communication. The New Mexico schools are not offering the classes I need at this time. Working with Pierpont continues to be stressful, It looks like my best option is to take a summer class in research writing from my Local Brick and Mortar college. It will be between $600 and $800 and I can not ask for financial aid because of my current status at the college. Even though I haven't taken a class at the college since 2013 and there is a supposed academic forgiveness I am still on the bad list and have to enter as a nondegree-seeking student.
Also up for debate is whether my English class with an A will give me enough of a GPA boost to graduate. I have two e-mails one saying it should work and another not so sure. I couldn't find out what financial aid would offer at Pierpont without enrolling. If I would have enrolled and then withdrawn because the aid wouldn't cover the class I would still be out $400.
I wish my college courses were as easy as straighterline.com or Study.com, in effect you pay for your classes do your work and get graded. Done and over with, no garbage politics, none of the "You need to e-mail the VP of admissions and the cost of your class really isn't the real cost".
My ex-attended an IVY and I did most of the legwork for her admission and that was easier than anything I have dealt with in my own schooling.
Anyways, that is where I'm at. Thank you board members for the support I'll post an update at some point.

One more possibility. Try some of the California community colleges. As a non-resident, it will cost about as much as your local school, but you shouldn't be shut out of aid, and you can do it online this summer. The link below is the cheapest for a non-resident ($163/credit) I could find in a few minutes of searching. You might do better searching around.
