I have been lurking on this forum for a few months now and I have received so much information. Now I am at a point where I could use some help. TESU has evaluated my transcripts from CCAF and various other colleges. My issue is that I would like to know if there are economical methods to obtain credits for the following so that I can complete a BSBA in Gen Mgmt at TESU. I have taken several courses through Straighterline, but I have not tried any other alternative means. I am less than 40 hours away. SL=Straighterline
My Excel spreadsheet is also attached. Thanks for your help!!!!

Hello. I read your earlier post when you somewhat "hijacked" that previous thread but didn't have time to respond...
Anyways, do yourself a favor, redo the spreadsheet but this time, use the MyEdison/OSS "What If" tool for BS Tech Studies.
I think you're closer to a BS Technical Studies than the BSBA Gen Man, unless of course, you want the BSBA Gen Man.
For me, I would keep my options open... Here's what I recommend for your courses, cheap/easy/fast!

Also, there is a proctoring fee for each of the exams, so it's a bit more than $70 for each, but not bad at all.
Davar sells exams. If you are a good test-taker, it is a good option. They provide powerpoints, study material and recommended textbooks. You study and when you are ready, you take the proctored exam.

Oh my goodness!!!!! I just ran the "What if" Tool for BS in Technical Studies and I cannot believe my eyes. I am less than 20 SH away from earning a degree!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I wonder how accurate the tool is, do you have any idea? Also, do you have any historical data on how difficult the Capstone may be for BS Tech Studies? Thank you so much!!!! I have trying to earn a degree off and on for over 10 years now. I cannot believe I am so close! My Goal- Earn my degree within 3 - 6 months.

Thank you very much!!! My goal is to graduate as soon as possible, so all suggestions are helpful!
After running the "What If" for BS Tech Studies, I see that I need:
INTELLECTUAL AND PRACTICAL SKILLS:
Info Literacy 3 SH
Civic Engagement 3 SH
GE ELECTIVES:
Computer Concepts 3 SH
Principles of Statistics (STA-201) 3 SH
TES-100 1 SH
MATHEMATICS:
Highler Level Math 3 SH
NATURAL WORLD - 8 SH:
(Natural World was satisfied under BSBA in GM, but I am also 40 SH away from completion in BSBA GM) - no brainer

LOL, those are my exact guesses. You'll be done in 3 months, that's in no time.
I had someone follow through with my guide and finished his degree in 4 months.
The capstone is 3 months, the rest is one month. You can do it!
PM me if you want, I'll give you more details...

Here's a spreadsheet for the BSBA, you can cross-reference it to see where the courses are available. I don't think I have Davar on there (ran out of space).
A lot of the same courses will work for the BS in TS, especially the Gen Eds.
The reason you have 8cr left in the Natural World for the BS in TS is because it requires Chem I & II with Labs, or Physics I & II with Labs. Although your are closer with the BS-TS, you are probably going to spend more money on it. You can get Chem I w/Lab and Physics I w/Lab at SL, but Chem II w/Lab or Physics II w/Lab is going to have to be done somewhere else. Physics II w/Lab can be had through NMJC for $356, and will take a semester. There are other schools that give it, but it will just be more expensive and time consuming than the BSBA courses.
I would map out the BSBA and the BS in TS, including prices, and see which one you come out ahead in. You may be surprised. Sometimes, fewer credits may take longer/cost more than more credits - if the ones you need are harder to find/more expensive/take longer. So you need to map out the time and cost.
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000 EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers DSST Computers, Pers Fin CLEP Mgmt, Mktg COURSES: TESU CapstoneStudy.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats Ed4Credit Acct 2 PF Fin Mgmt ALEKS Int & Coll Alg Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics Kaplan PLA
Consider the BA in Liberal Studies too. If it were me, I would spend extra time on the BS-TS/BSBA.
Personally I would be able to do the 20 business credits much faster than the Chem II w/Lab or Phys II w/Lab, especially if you count waiting around for the semester to start, since you've missed Spring semester at most schools. So if you decide to go the Chem/Phys route, you may want to pay more and get a self-paced course somewhere, so you're not waiting around for 3-5 months.

Re: ideas
I ran the “what if” for BA Liberal Studies last night and was shocked to see that I need only 4 courses!!!
Considering that I have the GI Bill, I thought about enrolling in traditional courses online. Not now. It for Undegrad anyway. I will save that for a master’s program.
Thank you for suggesting Liberal Studies.
Re:dfrecore and bjcheung
Thank you so much! I posted thinking that no one would respond. I see that you guys are always on here helping out. I will map everything out when I get to my computer. Also, I wonder if the GI Bill covers any alternative means like SL or Davar. My husband used his GI Bill for CLEP, but that was several years ago. I will check on that, as well.
