The 6 courses required for the HCM concentration/cert are available via various means, esp Study.com. SL won't have what you need, esp because they don't have UL courses, and they don't have any of these courses.

Thanks! They have a separate certificate for hcm? Or is it just the concentration as part a degree? I thought I saw a certificate but I can't find it now

Totally confusing (and this one is brand new).  All of the other concentrations offer a certificate AS the concentration (they are one and the same), this one just seems to be the concentration.  The others all say "Students who complete this concentration earn an Undergraduate Certificate in" XYZ.

I'm not taking about Humanities/SocSci/NatSci&Math - those are general concentrations with no specific courses you need.

BTW - this concentration is a bit kooky. If I were to get a concentration in HCM, I'd take all of the HCM courses that Study.com has. I'd also give serious consideration to taking some additional management courses that would help you, including some of the core of the business degree and the leadership courses Study.com offers.

I'd probably also look at jobs in the field that you're interested in, and see if they're open to non-business HCM degrees. If every job wants a Business degree, you're going to be hard-pressed to show how a BALS degree is business-y enough for the company. Just a thought. I'm unsure how these BALS w/business-type concentrations will go over in the real world.

BUS 304: Leading Organizational Change should work for this requirement.

Thank u!!!!!
So my advisor added an evaluation for AA in communicans for me to look over. I only need 3 required ge type classes and  my tes 100 class for it. Same 4 classes I need for my BALS plus my capstone to finish my bals degree. So I might go that route.
Be done quicker.

I'm considering a master's in hcm or hr. And a certificate in the other areas (that I don't get my masters in) so far I've looked at wgu for this next step. They have a master in hcm of 11 courses and will have an hr certificate next year. So we'll see. I think you have a good oipoi about the balshcm degree. I'd rather have flexibility. Thanks for ur help!!!

Now I'm really just scared of bombing my last capstone class. Any advice?
