Who are you taking chem lsb through?

I have not taken chem or biology yet, I am kind of dreading the chemistry lab.

I will probably end up taking the chem with lab through TESU. You have to pay an extra $250 or something to buy a home lab kit. I'm a little weary of it, but people have said its not too bad.

I'll probably go through nmjc I did their bio I and II w/lab. It was pretty straightforward and easy. I'll look into the chem class to see if it's a similar format.

I'm looking at the NMJC bio labs. Are they virtual? There's nothing about a kit listed on the syllabus, just the name/ISBN of the lab workbook they require.

I am looking at Environmental Studies, if TESU will allow a double major with Bio (which is the one I need for work). My spouse's union participates in the Union Plus Free College Benefit with Eastern Gateway Community College in Ohio, and EGCC has a nice selection of environmental studies courses that look like they would apply toward the requirements. All lower level, of course.

You might look at EGCC if you need more courses, especially if you or someone in your family is a union member. Otherwise, the tuition is still pretty reasonable at $240/credit for out-of-state students (about $130 for in-state)—though if you can find similar courses at one of the New Mexico junior colleges, those will probably be even cheaper. I believe Fort Hays also has some environmental studies upper level courses at ~$260/credit.

I took Bio II at NMJC. Since it's a course for non-science majors, the labs are very easy. My instructor only asked for stuff you can find at home or buy at the grocery store. I picked plants from my patio.
