Yes, the RW counts for an AA/AS AND a BA/BS, but not for 2 BA/BS degrees done at separate times.

I decided to skip the AA altogether and pursue the BA after all. And by taking all 16 credits of UL courses at TESU.

You can skip the application for graduation and paying the residency waiver for the AA. But leave it in your program list, don't worry about it and leave it as it is for now. This way, you can get the Bachelors degree and when you're done, you get the AA free without even thinking about it... Put all your energy/money/time on planning and completing the Bachelors but be happy that you get the AA en route to the BA free.

If you withdraw from a class after the 21 days and, therefore, do not get any refund, does that count toward the 16 credit residency requirement?
