Seems policy may have changed but I would still advise that you hold on to that email for dear life. When sent hopefully they also noted your student record because many many others were told the opposite. For all others do not take this information for granted. Each person should contact TESC and get the current policy in writing.
I have been an enrolled student at TESC since 2009 and have never seen in any catalog that simply applying locks you in to a catalog year. What has happened in the past is at the end of the road students are told they were given incorrect information and to refer to the published policy which I listed in this thread.
Good luck!

I've revised the template I previously created for BA in History through TESC to show the new requirement of the capstone:

I actually got the same email in response to a question about graduation requirements before and after the catalog goes into effect. What the admissions counselor told me in writing was that so long as I officially enroll prior to my application going inactive, the new 12-13 catalog would not be relevant.

It appears that one of the things that have changed for 2012-2013 is that TESC no longer offers a ASAB in General Management.

Was this information from the admissions department? It's still active within the online student services academic evaluations link.
Program............: Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA)

No, I tried calling them yesterday, but they closed at 12. It appears in my Student services as well, but it used to also be shown on TESC's website along with all the other degree programs. I know for a fact that it was listed in their area of study as of 2 weeks ago, but it's not their now. Either it was accidentally deleted or they're not listing it right now, or something.

My apologies... I did miss it. It was listed under Business Administration and I was looking under General Management. Nevermind me folks....
Thanks Bricabrac for the clarification.

Quick question, out of topic kinda lol... It really doesn't matter I guess but....
When you list TESC on your resume do you list it with the "A" before Edison? I notice the academic evaluation had it that way.
Thomas A. Edison State College
or Thomas Edison State College?
Certification (ACA) University of Central Florida
B.A. (Social Sciences) Thomas Edison State University
