Yenisei Wrote:It's really not clear in some cases what you took, e.g., for Chemistry and Physics at the 300 level, what you mean by "Micro 440" and "Stats 300", plus you can't use both the Biology and Natural Science CLEPs in the Area of Study. If by "A and P", you mean "Anatomy & Physiology", those are 200 level courses at TESC, and you need 18 UL (300 and 400 level) as well as 12 in a single discipline. I assume here that "Micro" refers to Microbiology.
I am sure others have even better suggestions and (always be sure to verify everything in writing with a TESC advisor), but here are mine:
Gen Ed Nat Sci& Math requirements:
Stick all but two 100 level exams/courses here, and only use UL
Intro to Computing DSST 3credits
Statistics 4 credits (I am assuming they are semester credits for an introductory stats course)
Biology CLEP 6 credits
The additional credit in this scenario rolls over in elective credit
Nat Sci & Math Area of Study
Natural Sciences CLEP (assuming they are not considered duplicative to the Biology CLEP and/or won't cause you to go over 18 credits for BIO): 6 credits LL 100 level
Microbiology 4 credits UL
A&P 6 credits LL
Liberal Arts Capstone 3 credits UL
MIS DSST 3 credits UL
ECE Pathophysiology 3 credits UL
One Ohio U CBE option- e.g., Bioethics or Biology and the Future of Man 3 credits UL
TECEP Network Technology 3 credits UL
Environment & Humanity DSST 3 credits LL
If the chemistry and physics courses you took were UL, then by all means apply them to the Area of Study UL requirements.
One more question, Yenisei-
My anatomy and physiology are both 400 level and worth 5 each and the physics and chem are 300 level, so I can use those, right? So could the area of study look like this?
Microbiology 4 credits UL
A&P 10 credits UL
Liberal Arts Capstone 3 credits UL
Physic's 300 3 credits UL
Chem 305 5 credits UL
One Ohio U CBE option- e.g., Bioethics or Biology and the Future of Man 3 credits UL
TECEP Network Technology 3 credits UL
Environment & Humanity DSST 3 credits LL
You're awesome! Thanks!
