TESC Coding of Penn Foster Intermediate Accounting I & II
#1
Hello,

I've seen Penn Foster's Intermediate Accounting I & II courses mentioned a number of times on this forum. Does anyone know what course codes Thomas Edison assigns those courses? Do they transfer in as ACC-2xx or ACC-3xx courses?

Thank you,
Ben

I am not sure of the course number that they assign but you could do straighterline for Acct I & II for a lot cheaper pending that you could complete both courses in one month for under $180 bucks.
me:
ASBA-TESC-9/2011
BSBA-TESC-6/2012
Awards: Arnold Fletcher Award
MBA-CSU- 5/2014
DBA- undecided

emichele,

SL Acct I and II are lower level credit.

Yes, Straighterline's Accounting I + II is different than Intermediate Accounting I & II, which is what the OP asked about. The former is ACC-101 and 102 which is required for all BSBA degrees, the latter is ACC-201 and 202 which is required for degrees in Accounting.

Hope this helps.
