If so what did they come in as? I've taken the Homicide course and had it transferred in but haven't looked into the others.
I’m currently about halfway through the Basic Property Technician course and loving it thus far. Here is the email TESU sent me last week when I also inquired about these courses:
Quote:FSA107 Basic Property Technician- will transfer in as AOJ-241 for 3 credits if completed by 11/30/21
FSA113 Basic Criminal Investigation- will transfer in as AOJ-140 for 2 credits if completed by 11/30/21
FSA114 Death Investigation- will transfer in as AOJ-340 for 3 credits if completed by 11/30/21
FSA115 Foundations of Fingerprint Comparison- will transfer in as AOJ-299 for 3 credits if completed by 11/30/21
FSA116 Foundations of Forensic Photography- we do not have this in our system. I had to email the Registrar for review and I will email you back once they return my email. I do not have your name or ID number so you may need to email me back in a week or so.
FSA118 Foundations of Courtroom Testimony- This is the same for the course above.
To this day, they are still looking into what FSA116 transfers in as, but they keep telling me that it may take a few weeks to find out.
Nice! Do you know the FSA115 or FSA 116 may fill the GE Electives portion of a BALS Social Sciences?
Yep! This was in a later email:
Quote:The courses you list in your first email which can go towards your lower level Social Science credits would be the AOJ-241. The AOJ-340 can be used for an upper level Social Science course. Then the others free electives.

I took the AOJ-340 Homicide course and already have AOJ-241 from a different course I transferred in . I'm hoping the FSA115 or FSA116 would fill the final slot I need.
On a side note I dont know if it was a slip up from my adviser or not but I have several AOJ courses in my Free Electives even though I still have the required slot missing from my GE Electives. I just emailed asking if any of those can go to GE since I have some Free Electives I can still send a transcript for.

So they responded back with the same info they sent you, however, what is strange to me is that i'll have two separate AOJ-241 courses if i take FSA107. They both have different names as the course title but the same TESU #. I guess maybe the TESU # can work as a placeholder or catchall?

Yeah, TESU is weird with their transfers that I am noticing. I just completed Basic Property Technician yesterday morning and posted a review of it in the main thread, but to shorten it: It was ok. I enjoyed it at first since it’s a video game-style learning experience, but finding the answers for the final exam was incredibly unpleasant. You only get three attempts to pass the final or you flunk the entire course. Luckily, I passed on the third go with a 90/100, but it was mainly due to repeat questions and somehow stumbling upon the answers when looking at Texas law and such.

Just got this email back for anyone interested...
I received information from the Registrar's Office regarding the Foundations of Forensic Photography from TEEX and it appears that it will transfer in as AOJ-240 and would apply toward your General Education Electives Requirement.

If the different names are based on where you took them, it doesn't matter - what matters is that TESU counts them both the same (AOJ-241). Which means they will duplicate each other.

Well thats going to suck considering they just put them in my plan and I have two courses with the same number. Is this something that can be appealed?

No clue, I haven't heard of that happening before. In 8+ years on here, not a single time...
