Are you looking at the Undergraduate or Graduate level?
Amberton has a graduate Specialization in Christian Counseling. You can find information here:
https://www.amberton.edu/programs-and-co...eling.html
Their tuition is $795 per 3 hour course and there are 4 classes required.
Liberty has an online Graduate level Pastoral Counseling Certification, but the tuition is $615 per hour part time. There are 3 classes in the certificate. Here is info:

This isn't counseling but Johnson University has a fairly inexpensive online Christian Ministries Cert at both the Undergraduate and Graduate Levels. Tuition is $2K for the cert at both levels and the Undergraduate Cert has 15 hours and the Grad Cert has 9. Information is on their website:

I would recommend taking up a course of Clinical Pastoral Education at a health system in your locale. Earning a unit of CPE will be much more affordable and useful than any online certificate.

Can you explain what this is and how I make contact? Thank you.

I'd agree about a unit of CPE, but it's usually fully face to face (B&M). Sometimes you can find a hybrid CPE, but I think there are only a handful of those across the country.
You'd call or email them. Some might have websites with info, but I found a bunch just have contact info.

Totally off the subject, but I see you have FEMA credit - and TESU hasn't taken that for credit in a while, so just wanted you to know that it won't count.

If you truly want biblical counseling, then I highly recommend ACBC
https://biblicalcounseling.com. They have a certification process with online training. I went through the training Jan-March and it was very well done. I'm not pursuing the certification, so I'm not completing the other steps, but I greatly benefited from the online training.

I didn’t want to make a new thread on this, but I recently discovered the International Institute of Faith Based Counseling. I’m looking at their PhD in Christian counseling which is self paced and accredited by Transworld Accrediting Commission ( I assume they are popular among ministry) and is about $3k with a pay as you go option. They also offer certified Christian counseling certifications as well.
I like the pay as you go option because the learner acquires additional certifications ( example: certificated faith based clinical counselor and certified biblical therapist) after completing the courses. Is anyone familiar with this school?

Unrecognized accrediting agency. Don't confuse this "Transworld" with the
Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). TRACS is recognized by the US Department of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Transworld is recognized by neither.
A school accredited by Transworld will generally be considered unaccredited.

Yes I mentioned that I think Transworld is popular among ministry/seminary, because I don’t think secular accreditation matters as mucg in this case, but I could be wrong. However, the school appears to be proud of that accreditation
I’m definitely interested.
