TECEP Transfer Equivalencies??

With the occasional free TECEPs, such as the 5 that were made free last month, does anyone know how the TECEPs will transfer into the other main schools such as Excelsior, UMPI, etc? Knowing what exams could assist with the other schools would be good for those trying to utilize the exams the best they can.

These are RA challenge exams, so they should be treated as similar to in-house challenge exams at the respective institutions you want to transfer into. Most if not all should transfer as long as the courses are very similar with a class name, content, number, etc. I would recommend verifying with the institution it will transfer before taking the TECEP though. I don't think anyone has created any equivalency list as each college/university may/may not take the exam at face value...

AFAIK, Excelsior will take TECEP exams (unless they've since changed their policies). UMPI should also accept them, though it's possible they don't.

@GameSlinger, for the Big 3, COSC, Excelsior, TESU, some of their degrees are not fully completable by using their own classes offered. Many degrees require a set transfer of some sort as courses are not offered by the institution. Most of the other institutions will have their own respective classes to complete at the institution itself for the degrees they offer, there are other institutions that allow a 2+2 or 3+1 format where they partner with another institution to complete the degree.
