I want one!!! hilarious Wait, was it the 19th or 20th? Oops just looked it up, its actually the 21st. Everyone to the basements! (Queue up the sinister laugh track) "Your doomed, we are all doomed," I say.

It seems every five years or so some nut finds some passage in some book or crumpled notebook (or whatever in their mind seems about right) to come up with an end of days formula. Too bad they never die; well not unless they can take out a bunch of follwers with them. Why people choose to be sheep for these wackos I will never understand.

Non-believers could say the same thing about the followers of any religious denomination. While leaders may not ask you to drink tainted kool-aid or strap a bomb to your chest and blow yourself up in the middle of a mall, living your life according to the bylaws of an all-powerful and seeing, but never seen, man in the sky could be called just as crazy.
I m edumakated thanx to distunce lerning.

Sheesh, I wish I were better at geography. Which side of the International Date Line is Afghanistan on? What time zone is the end of the world based on? I mean, I don't want to post an "I survived" post (sorry Clep 101), and THEN get zapped. (For all the believers of any faith, I don't mean to offend. I'm just teasing. Feel free to make fun of my inabilaty to commit. I'm agnostic.)

I guess I posted too early for you guys in the U.S. I'm in the Kabul Time zone. I think it's 9 1/2 hours ahead of Central time. Yep, there's a 30 minute time difference from the rest of the world. It 22 May over here so I'm still alive. I guess we can take accountability roll call of everyone on the forum tomorrow for you guys in the U.S. Lets make sure the world didn't end for anyone on here.

Trivia time. Despite the "official" reason, I had it on good authority (i.e. from the locals) that the "real" reason they are off by 30 minutes is because they'll be damned if they'll be in the same time zone as either Pakistan or Iran. hilarious
