Hi I've read we need both macro & micro on Sophia, however, I took macroeconomics (small portion covered micrco) at a community college and it did transfer. Under degree progress it shows 1 completed and zero needed for this requirement. Would you reach out to your advisor to double check, or just leave it as is? I don't want to make extra work for myself but I also don't want to find out after applying for graduation that it was in error and I still need it to take another class. Thank you!
EDIT: I found on UMPI's transfer equivalency page my previous colleges MacroEc suffices so I'm leaving as is.

In the past, they have required both macro and micro to meet ECO207. You were given 6 credits - 3 for ECO207 and 3 general electives. You may want to confirm you don't need both instead of waiting until you apply for graduation and then you're denied graduating.

Hello, I saw a post that said Sophia Calc. will cover UMPI's MAT140, but others said it would not so I'm wondering if anyone has had Calc accepted for MAT140, please? Thank You!

Yes, I did, but I took it UMPI anyway because it was relatively quick for me. And it was easier than any Sophia math course I took, especially Calculus, so if it's a choice between the two, I would opt for MAT 140.
By the way, MAT 101 at UMPI was more work than any of the others, so it really varies.

Thanks for your response! The only reason I was considering it is because I still have an active Sophia subscription and could add a class while awaiting touchstone grading. I can't add a competency at UMPI all weekend so it could help me get ahead. I'm not sure what MAT101 is but I apparently don't need it. If calc is too difficult I'll just take MAT 140. Thanks again!

I can confirm that I used Calculus (though not from Sophia) to cover MAT 140 this session.
