Study guide necessary for Research Methods?
#1
I did a search on Research Methods which I've pushed off untill the ic cards for it were ready. I noticed a couple of ppl saying that the study guide that comes along with the Experimental Psychology textbook is a very good resource for its glossary and practice tests. I went to barnesandnobles.com and found the cheapest used one for twenty something dollars besides shipping. Any opinions on how necessary or worth it this purchase would be? (I ordered an older edition of the textbook for eight something).

I'm not sure if I misread your post, but the Research Methods materials have been up and available for a couple of weeks. We've had one user report positive feedback after using the materials (I believe MagicATC was the one who posted an 'A' after studying only our questions)

At most, I would think Research Methods plus Excelsior sample test should do the trick. Get the textbook if you want a reference on the side.

Good luck!

thanx for the reply. i am aware of the ic flashcards which are the main focus of my study right now, though in addition to that, most research test takers mentioned the study guide that comes along with the recommended textbook as a fabulous resource. just checking how fabulous it is and how necessary to purchase it is. thanx again.

I had the recommended text book from Excelsior. I didn't think it was worth it. The main point is to understand the definitions and the web is good enough source for that if you want more then IC. Other then that, IC is all you need.
