I saw the post about courses changing at Study.com.
https://support.study.com/support/soluti...ng-courses
My son needs Business 309 Marketing with Digital and Social Media but the course will switch to a lower level course as of November 1st.
IF my son completes the course this weekend, will that be enough time for them to grade the assignments and grant credit as an upper level course before the November 1st deadline?
Also, second question, how do we get it transferred to TESU as I heard we need them submitted directly from Study.com.
TIA - we are under a time crunch!

At this point, it would be unlikely to get the course done in time.
There's a send transcript button on the dashboard page that is used to send a transcript directly to TESU.

Earned credits from Sophia, SDC, ASU ULC, TEEX, Microsoft, Strayer, TESU, Saylor, DSST, CLEP, CompTIA, StraighterLine, and others since starting in April 2020

I've done this many times. All your son needs to do is complete the entire course before 01Nov. Which means he does all of the quizzes, takes the final proctored exam, AND submits all of the assignments before 01Nov2023. If he gets 100% on the quizzes, plus scores at least 80-85% or higher on the proctored exam, then he really only needs to fully complete one of the 40 point assignments to hit the 210 point magic number. The other two he can turn in as a blank word document that says, "I'm not going to complete this assignment". Or he can do them all, if he feels up to it. Either way, he has to complete and submit everything before 01Nov, or he will be subject to the new ACE credit recommendation guideline. It will take Study.com (SDC) a few days or weeks, to grade his assignments and finalize his grade, but he will still receive the UL credit recommendation if he completes everything by 01Nov.

I would do things differently.
I would first take the practice final exam and see where you are at now. If you get 50%, then forget about reading any word of the course and go right to the quizzes, looking up answers as you go, which you should still score 100% in 3 tries. (1 tab open for course and 1 tab for quiz)
Then, take the final exam ASAP and hope to score 50%. (this process could take 4-6 hours) (Oct 29th)
Spend your time on the papers and try to score an average of 70%, and you'll pass easily. (this process could take 6-10 hours) (Oct 30th)
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Thank you everyone.
The course only has 99 quizzes and 3 assignments so he plans to power through it this weekend.
He wants to learn the material because it could be helpful in his current job.
He is watching it at 1.25 speed, so it will take 12 hours for the videos then a quick write of the assignments is easily doable this weekend.
Thank you to whoever posted the changes otherwise we would have been looking for another upper level course to replace this one.

For myself, I can't watch videos over 1.5x the speed as it's too fast, I don't like to rush the videos at 1.75x or even at 2x (even if I know the material, some people can, I can't)... It's going to be doable still by going quickly through the quizzes and the final exam, then also do the assignments. If you have a second monitor, use that for multi-tasking for the quizzes and assignments, remove it for the final exam...

Does TESU require more than 70% to grant credit for Study.com courses?

No. As long as you pass the course and it shows up on your SDC transcript TESU will accept it.

TESU grants credit as long as you have the ACE credit recommendation, any course from ACE requires a 70% to pass. That's the minimum to get the ACE credit, anything lower wouldn't work. So far, only COSC requires 80%+ and UMASS Global requires 81.5%+ for credit. Most of the providers, only require you to have anything over 70% as that's the minimum to get ACE credit, once you have the ACE credit, send that to Credly for reference and keep track of your progress...

For some graduate schools, they may want to see percentages/grades for things like Study.com and Sophia, so it's a good idea to try to score as high as possible. But, with some classes, the best you can hope for is 71% or so. Don't worry about it too much.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
