Math courses from Shmoop got ACE approved

As far as duplications go, my best guess would be:

Pre-Algebra I AND II 3 lower level- either Beginning or (we hope) MAT-115 Intermediate Algebra
Algebra I AND II 3 lower level- ALEKS et al. MAT-121 College Algebra

Mathematics I 2 lower level AND
Mathematics II 2 lower level AND
Mathematics III 2 lower level- MAT 102/ 103 CLEP College Math for 6 credits

Finite Math 3 lower level- MAT-119 Quantitative Business Analysis (there is a UExcel for this one)
Pre-Calculus 3 lower level- ALEKS et al. MAT-129 Pre-Calculus
Geometry 2 upper level- MAT-361 College Geometry

PreAlgebra probably won't count for anything, it's developmental.

No idea what Math I, II and III will count for - but if you took them in High School here, they replace Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II (this is the new common core way of doing math called "Integrated Math"). So I'm guessing that if you took all 3, you might get credit for College Algebra, possibly Geometry as well (but not certain on that). I'm not at all sure that colleges will have caught up with Common Core on this yet.

I took Finite Math in CC, TESU brought it in as MAT-110 (it's a precursor to Stats, not really Quant Business Analysis, my course matched what the syllabus is on Shmoop).

The 1cr waiver for Ethics is a Gen Ed, so it's easy to see why they give it. TESU will not give a waiver for the UL AOS courses you need. You will need 18cr, and they will hold you to that. It's kind of the point of the degree!

They gave me a 3cr UL area of study waiver for Social Psychology (6 UL cr were required for my degree; i did 3 and made up the rest in AOS electives)

I am all in for cheap credits, I'm thinking of going for the Finite Math and Geometry courses for the credits as I don't think they'll duplicate ALEKS ones.
And if it's still $25/month, it's cheap 2 UL credits in Geometry for me! Even if it's only elective credits, I don't mind collecting them...

I didn't say that they wouldn't accept the course, I just said that they won't give you a waiver to take less than the required number of credits in your AOS. If you have 18cr UL and 15cr LL required in the AOS, that's what you must do. They gave you a waiver for 3cr UL in the AOS that you then have to replace with 3cr UL in the AOS. They WILL let someone take a 2cr Geometry course, they will just have to make up the extra credit somewhere in the AOS. They won't give a waiver for THAT.

If you still need them, I would go for it. I would just get them pre-approved so you know for certain that TESU will bring them in how you think they're coming in.

Yeah of course the UL requirement still stands, I don't think anyone would assume that would be waived.

It's certainly not the statement I was making, at any rate.
