Test Taking Abroad (Japan in this case)

Hello all,

I am going to Japan early next year. I am going to take a CLEP exam before I leave the USA for 3 months. While I am in Japan I originally planned on taking multiple ALEKS Math tracks since I can do that online anywhere in the world.

I just found out that Temple University-Tokyo has an "Open" CLEP Testing Center. My question is this, is the process the same as if I were taking a test in the USA? Military Personnel taking exams all over the world. I am not in the military but I should not have any issues at a non-military "Open" testing center right?

I have an American ID and Passport. No Japanese ID..potential issue?
The results of the CLEP exam should appear in their database/repository in the USA as well right?

Any feed back or personal experiences that anyone can share are welcomed.
