They definitely don't make things easy, do they? It's been a couple of months since I took the course, so they might be doing a totally different procedure now, but you can email advisor@straighterline.com and ask. Just tell them you're taking the English Comp II class and that you've received a final grade on an essay and need your Blackboard Gradebook updated with the grade. Be sure to give the name of the essay(s) graded, date you completed it,and score you received. They'll either update it or let you know where on their site to request your grade transfer. My grades were always about 1 point higher than smartthinking once they were transferred. I guess Straighterline adds a point.

Thank you sooooooooooooo much. I finally got an email back saying exactly that. It is definitely not easy. I liked the way it worked in English 1 way better. But oh well it will be all good. 2 more papers to go. Can't wait. Thanks againeeya:

It depends on how quick you can write and also how quickly the grading turn around time. My grading turn around time has been 24 hours. Others have said it takes way longer. I think you can complete it between 2-4 weeks. I don't know your personal situation(whether you work FT or PT or go to another school, family, etc)

My first paper took 8 days to get back, the next was 6 days and the last two have been 1 day. I would just worry about the part you can control and you can easily knock this out in a month.

FINALLY FINISHED SL ENGLISH COMP 2!! Such a relief. Now just need to email SL to have them transfer the Smarthinking points over to Blackboard then transfer over the class to TESC. WOOHOO!!

Now on to Spanish CLEP...fingers crossed for the full 12credits. Any sucggestions on studying?

After that (depending on how TEEX transfers over) Intro to Comp CLEP and then dare I say it....DONE!! (with AAS in Computer Studies)
