Good evening everyone,
I am taking my first class on SL while I wait for my final 2 exams on study.com. Just a question for you all..
I am taking the Business Statistics course. For SL (or that course specifically if you took it), what are the graded exams based off of? The chapters in the etextbook, the powerpoints, or something else? It just seems like a LOT of information for this class and I wasn't sure which source I should pinpoint to successfully pass those exams.
Thank you!!!!

It's been awhile now since I took it, but from what I recall the information on the exams was all information covered in the etextbook.

Hello and thanks for the response.
So just to clarify - the grade is made up of those 6 graded quizzes and then the proctored final exam. Are you saying that all the final exam questions will come from those graded quiz questions?
If so, since they allow a double-sided sheet of notes for the proctored exam, could I just print out the past graded quiz questions or as many that would fit on the paper?
Thanks again!

I used to print out quizzes for my teens to study from. I have a duplexing laser printer (double sided). Even if you shrink the font, you're looking at 25 pieces of double-sided paper. Best just to review and study imo.

Hello again,
I am sorry for my many questions. So that final proctored exam that is 40 questions, all 40 questions will be from the 6 graded quizzes? Or from a different question bank? Thank you again

Good morning all,
To begin, thanks for all the replies. These final exams just get me stressed to take because they count so much especially after doing all the coursework.
One other question - at the end of the SL Business Statistics class, the last chapter is just a review chapter. In it, they have a 81-page PowerPoint review that has all types of review questions from all the topics covered.
I’m not sure if they have that same type of last PowerPoint review for all SL courses, but does anyone know of those questions on that PowerPoint review are going to be seen on the final?
There’s just so much content and I am trying to figure out which questions to try to add to my 2-sided study sheet. I just really need to pass this.
Thank you all in advance.

I can't help with the question about what to put on your study sheet, but in regard to your comment above, keep in mind that the SL Business Stats final exam is only 250 points of the 1000 points total for the course. So depending on how you've done prior to the final, you may not have to worry too much about the final exam.
In fact, if you're at a 93.4% cumulative so far in the course before the final exam, you've technically already passed the course and the final doesn't matter at all. If you're at 76.7% cumulative in the course, you only need to get a 50% on the final exam to pass the course. Obviously, if you're at 70% in the course before the final exam, you need at least 70% on the final to pass.
Hopefully, that helps lower your stress a bit. I always find it easier to study and retain information when my stress levels are lower.

Good morning Merlin!
It looks though that the final is work 310 points out of 1000. Where are you seeing the 250 points? I am currently at 86% percent going into the final which is 592 points out of 690. I need 108 points out of 310 of the final to pass with a 70%. That comes down to a 35% on the final which seems to be an easy pass, but with the final being only 40 questions and with the content and with me not being the best test taker, that's where the potential stress comes in haha.
But if you could, please let me know where you say the final being 250. That would be great if it is.

Hey again,.
I saw the syllabus and I am taking the $59 Business Stat course - the one your referencing is the $129 Business stat course that has the final exam being only 250 points. I wish the syllabus were the same though
