StraighterLine Final Grades???
#1
So i am pretty new to the forum... I had used this group about 4 years ago when i took the DSST Heres to your Health and it helped me pass first attempt.. NOw i am back working at my 2nd BS...I am looking into SL Intro to Nutrition.. I've been reading its fairly simple, can be completed in 1 day, and i need the credit so here i am..

My question is, how are final grades determined? i have been going through older threads and found conflicting reviews.. some say that if your grade is high enough that the proctored final is just a formality but doesn't affect your grade that much either way; others i have seen mention that if regardless of the course grade you need a 70 on the final to pass the course...

does anyone have any recent experiences to clarify the finals process????

From looking at the course info, grading criteria tab, there's no mention of getting 70% on the final.

If you click download syllabus, the info there corresponds to the grading criteria tab info.
The final is 25% of your grade, and you shouldn't need to have a 70% on the final to pass.

You don't need to pass the final; you just need to take it. Your overall grade needs to be a 70% or higher. Some people do so well on their quizzes and mid-term that they can fail the final and still pass.

Awesome ! And what about the timeline ? I'm hoping to finish it in one day.. Which I've seen is doable for that course, but I'm confused with other people saying sometimes going through them so quickly you get flagged to redo the course or something like that?
