Stats on PLA students
#1
I think they are counting anyone who tests out with prior knowledge.

We go farther and do it faster... and don't drop out as much as the typical student:

Quote:Research from Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) shows that among adult students, graduation rates are two and a half times higher for students with PLA credit.

The study also found that PLA students of all ages complete higher level degrees and at a faster rate than non-PLA students.

I thought this was interesting.

They should also have asked how many total degrees PLA learners have vs. traditional. I'd bet that more PLA graduates have 2 or more degrees than traditional students do.

(I know I'm seriously considering getting an extra degree, assuming all goes well.)

I don't really plan to get an 'extra', but getting the initial one has demonstrated to me I can absolutely do a masters next... cost, with time a lazy second being really the only bar to entry, at least for me.
