Has anyone pursued the
MA in Education through St. Catherine's University using VESi credits towards their degree? How many of the VESi credits are applied to the degree? This might be an interesting option for me later on and even though Morningside has a good program for teachers, an MAEd beats an MAT for teaching at community college which I'd like to do someday. Thanks.

The program seems pretty tightly designed, without any elective space. Would St. Catherine's allow any VESI courses to substitute for courses in their regular course sequence?

That I don't know. I think I'll call them later to check. I like to keep my options open and if they allowed up to 18 credits from VESi to be used for an MAEd, well that would catch my interest. Otherwise I'm going to just stick with getting an MA in History alone.

I know, thanks anyways. I'm always looking at options and was mostly curious about this for an MAEd. An MAT wouldn't help me much for my career goals.
