Hello,
Based on what is known about the requirements of the Sophia Spanish class and the UMPI Spanish class, which one would be the most straightforward for a spanish native speaker?
Thank you.

If you're a native speaker, your best options are to either blast through Sophia or to just take an ACTFL exam. DO NOT take the UMPI class. As a native speaker, you will be penalized for having "excessive" knowledge of the language. Not worth it.
In progress:

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming

ACTFL is your best bet. If you just want a quick cheap 3cr, you can do the RPT (reading) or LPT (listening). If you would rather get more credits, you can do the OPIc/OPI (Oral - speaking) or the WPT (writing).

Do the Sophia class. My wife is from Mexico and that's what she did. It was laughably easy.
Just do that and transfer it in to UMPI.

I would either take Sophia's Spanish course or the ACTFL exam which will give you additional credits for general electives.

Take Sophia's class if you want it done faster. Do the ACTFL if you want to have a lot of elective credits done ASAP

The ACTFL is a 20 minute exam - you can't get credits faster than that!

@Samus477, either option would do, ACTFL or Sophia.org - just to throw this out, you can do the CLEP as well with Modern States for free. Just complete the exam after blasting through the material on Modern States...
