This has been discussed in the forum (somewhere) and confirmed that you do not have to come to the campus. They only asked for a waiver, which was approved with no pushback.
Also, if you go on the South College Facebook forum with the lion's share of students and information, you can see this is 100% online if that is the format you would like it to be.

I was all set and after talking with the enrollment councelor and academic advisor they told me it was in knoxville, so I pivoted to Liberty. This was early last year. It seems like a good program. Just went to their website and it says they only offer D.Ed, ministry and pharmacy as online programs and the DBA is in Knoxville. I sent them an email for clarification.

South College emailed me back and said the DBA is in Knoxville and not currently online, but D.Ed, ministry and pharmacy are available online. Very confusing and contradicting information. Hopefully the program is organized a little better.

Sounds like they're only looking at their "regular" programs and not their CBE offerings. Annoying.

The admissions department at South is a nightmare. They reps rarely have any clue about the details of the schools programs, and make the process as drawn out as possible.

I was told the same thing about the DMin and EdD programs a while back because they were showing up under the Knoxville campus instead of the online division. They've since moved the programs to the online division. You can ask to be put in contact with the head of the DBA program, and they'll likely schedule a phone call. I originally applied for South and Liberty, but after getting the run around and zero info from South I went with Liberty. I am 6 classes into the 20 class schedule. So far I like the lay out. I found the catalog and it does state CBE and online. Also it's only 10 classes instead of 20. Dang.
