I'll be starting it next year and no I won't be sharing my work on here.

Sagan was referencing the fact that most dissertations are released to the public, though perhaps after a few years wait to allow the author to publish. If South College is going to post your dissertation on their website or if it is going to be publicly available (through ProQuest Theses and Dissertations, for instance), why wouldn’t you share it here?

Specifically, I asked that the poster share that he/she completed a doctorate so we could read the dissertation, not that the dissertation itself would be posted here. Normally, it would be available on Proquest very soon after its approval by the school.
On a related note, I see that many posters here have a lot to say about doing a doctorate, yet (by their own acknowledgement) haven't actually done one. I think that's interesting.

Well since no one on here knows my name, how do you think you'd find it? I won't be attending South College. I don't share anything I write on here. That again would link my name to my account. No thanks.

Nothing wrong with that!
Yes, the hope would be that one might stand behind one's work, but that is a personal choice.
However, anonymity also means that personal anecdotes (like how many papers one has written and/or to what complexity, or what credentials one purports to hold) have no meaning nor preponderance. That doesn't mean the anonymous poster cannot write with convincing authority, of course. It's just that the personal experiences or authorities that person has become irrelevant in support of whatever assertions or assessments the poster shares.
I hope your doctorate goes well and serves you in all capacities.

Congrats, cerich67! Just wonder how many transferred credits South College would accept for the DBA program?
