Agreed! I wish I'd known the pricing beforehand. I probably wouldn't have rushed quite so fast and Sophia would definitely be getting my money. As it is, it's a low priority because I don't need the remaining class that I haven't signed up for.

The pricing before they went stopped charging for a few months was really high - $329 a course. I wouldn't pay that for their classes especially after having access to them for free for a few months.

My guess is very few people were paying that.  They have several deals with organizations for $99 classes as well as 5-packs, etc.  Now that they have seen what it looks like to serve 150,000 students they realize that a little bit better pricing will let them make far more because of volume.

Why you need to wait 30 days I dropped from several courses and I just contacted Sophia through chat support and they enable it for me again.

In progress:
TESU - ASNSM ASBA, UNIR- Master Cyber Security
Completed:
TESU - BA Computer Science

This is what I did. I went on the chat during the day and they reset the course for me. They even gave me the option to pick up where I left off or start over from the beginning.

Just FYI, there are no videos for the Business Law course either. They do have someone reading out the text itself, but that isn't always that helpful. I'll probably wind up watching some of the SDC videos to be able to get through the sections, something that really shouldn't be necessary.

Rachel83az, I took the BL CLEP after watching the ModernStates videos. You may find them helpful, too.

Taking the course right now. Not terribly hard and the paper is not that difficult either.
