Two things:
1. Check out community colleges, they are big on criminal justice AS and AAS degrees. Clovis CC has a criminal justice AAS and you may be able to get your classes there online (check with them to be sure) for as little as $267 for up to 6 credits ($45 per credit!!!) per semester: Clovis Tuition & Fees. Other CCs in New Mexico seem to have similar fee structures even for out-of-state students, not sure about online availability.
2. To see if a course is ACE reviewed check the ACE National Guide for College Credit and it will tell you. Remember that ACE only recommends credit. Each college decides what to accept.
Enjoy your journey.
