		Your Location: cologne, germany
Your Age : 19
What kind of degree do you want? : any AA or AS
Current Regional Accredited Credits : none
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits : none
Budget : as much as needed but cheaper is better Commitments : none
Dedicated time to study : as much as needed to finish QUICK
Timeline : best would be 6-9 months
Tuition assistance/reimbursement : I pay with my savings

As far as I know Snow College offers an accelerated AA/AS degree program, I want to know whether or not anyone here is currently attending or has been attending Snow College and what their review of it is. Is it proctored? Do I have to write a lot? Anyone has a list of self paced courses available? Is it easy to get A's? Has anybody International or out of state gotten the scholarship thats available?

I need to finish as many RA credits as fast as possible to transfer into an online high school program. I also scored a 1560 on my SAT so I want to transfer to a big brick and mortar school when I am finally in the US.

Snow College is accelerated in that you can do courses quickly - but I think you can only start at the beginning of the traditional semester. So, you could apply now, and then start in the fall (around August 15) and do 4 months of classes as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you could take ACE credit through Sophia to transfer in as much as possible. Last I knew, they took CLEP, DSST, and ACE - although they did not have any written agreements.
The main issue may be cost - the last I checked, the degree was $1,898 for 1 term for in-state tuition, then they made it the same price for in-state and out-of-state, with a much higher price for international (like $5,000). I think it would probably be easier to go somewhere else for that price.

I think you might be better off somewhere else, although I'm not certain of that. It would really depend on where you wanted to go after you finished your AA/AS.

what would be the alternative then? I also don't need ACE credits but RA credits thats why Snow College was on my list

They "updated" their website recently and removed the tuition for the Accelerated AS degree, so I'd contact them directly to ask about it.

ASU Online. Costs $25 to take a course, then another $400 or so to transcript each course. One nice thing is that if you do poorly on a course, you just don't bother to transcript it, and it doesn't mess up your GPA (or your wallet).

sounds great but they don't have that many courses available to be self paced. Do you know any other method I could use to quickly gather as many RA credits as possible?

TEL Learning has a bunch of courses that are all self-paced. $67/cr. They're a lot of work though.
