Ah so kcollins, you are now an ambassador for straighterline! Have you signed up for DSST testing through straigherline yet? Do they send you to a prometric center or do you do the test with a video proctor?

Just FYI, I used a different code and couldn't use the STUDENTAMB359 code at the same time, but I opened a chat and gave the chat operator the STUDENTAMB359 code, so you should be getting credit for that. Wish me luck in my first final tomorrow.

Going to hopefully start straighterline soon, have a few questions if anyone would could help. Does anyone know if straighterline prohibits finishing too many courses in a relatively short amount of time? Like for example if someone were to do 17 courses in a month, would they have a problem with such a thing? Also, does anyone know if it is absolutely vital to get the latest edition of the text book for a course, or can one get by comfortably with an older edition?
Most exams/finals are multiple choice with a few exceptions? Currently unemployed so I have a lot of time to dedicate to finishing courses, hoping to finish in a short amount

I did quite a few very quickly. Many in just a few days time.
There were a couple of courses where an outdated text caused some minor problems. I think sociology was one. Some of the questions asked for a stat from a certain year and the statistic in my textbook was earlier. The majority of the time I could ballpark it. Overall, I would say that the money I saved on older textbooks was well worth the one or two questions I answered incorrectly.

I just slowly chipped away at it while hustling through the other courses. IMO, the CLEP is a much easier option.
