Going to hopefully start straighterline soon, have a few questions if anyone would could help. Does anyone know if straighterline prohibits finishing too many courses in a relatively short amount of time? Like for example if someone were to do 17 courses in a month, would they have a problem with such a thing? Also, does anyone know if it is absolutely vital to get the latest edition of the text book for a course, or can one get by comfortably with an older edition?
Most exams/finals are multiple choice with a few exceptions?
Currently unemployed so I have a lot of time to dedicate to finishing courses, hoping to finish in a short amount

I did quite a few very quickly. Many in just a few days time.
There were a couple of courses where an outdated text caused some minor problems. I think sociology was one. Some of the questions asked for a stat from a certain year and the statistic in my textbook was earlier. The majority of the time I could ballpark it. Overall, I would say that the money I saved on older textbooks was well worth the one or two questions I answered incorrectly.

It was awful. Very very long, like 30 modules with 25 or 30 questions each. I remember it being over 800 questions from beginning to end. The CLEP is only 80 questions and 90 minutes.

I had to file an appeal and it took about 30 days to get a response from CLEP that they would let me retake it without the 3 month wait. But at that point, I'd already finished it with Straighterline.
Because I had studied for the CLEP exam I sailed through the questions without needing the textbook much. I just slowly chipped away at it while hustling through the other courses.
IMO, the CLEP is a much easier option.
