I have just completed my initial assessment for Aleks Intermediate Algebra and completed 61%. This is going to take a long time...banghead

On the plus side my Linux plug-in install was a complete success.:hurray:

You can do it!! ALEKS is great... you'll really learn. I didn't ever finish ALEKS, but it gave me confidence in my ability to learn math, which is something that I never had. I now know that if I took the time, I could probably be good at math. (too bad I just don't like it... lol)

A 61% on the initial assesment means you can actually see the finish line! I would be VERY happy with that. Work at it and you should be done in a couple of weeks max!

One question though, do I need to 'request new assessment' when I feel ready? Not sure how this works.

You can request a new assessment from the master account at anytime.

I was going to say the same. I did hear something about if you request too many assessments for one subject that they get harder.

Forgive me for this question, the % on assessments is how we get credit?? Not just the pie itself. So I should wait until I believe I have a better understanding of the subject matter? Smile
