Should I list my A.A in CJ from a DETC school on resume for now?

Really? Sounds good! Yes the AAS in Environmental, Safety, and Security Technologies does sound very neat I agree with you.

Here are some sources just in case anyone is in the South Florida area about Broward College accepting NA credit.

"Any student who transfers among postsecondary institutions that are fully accredited by a regional accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education, [B]and postsecondary institutions with national accreditation for courses approved by the Florida statewide course numbering system shall be awarded credit in accordance with Florida State Statute 1007.24."

Oh BTW, yes! Penn Foster College is still currently on my resume. Nothing has changed for me as of yet. These new updates are most likely for December when I do graduate and obtain my BA in Social Science first to see what I will do with the AA/AAS degrees.

I don't want to mess up your plans, but I wonder if this can really work. Normally, you can't get 2 degrees at the same level in the same subject even if they are from 2 different schools. Does the NA vs RA change that rule?

By the way, the fact that you can already put your Bachelor's degree on your resume is a completely new thought to me. That is so cool and I could do it, too! It's nice to be so close to the end.

That is a good point. Would TESC allow him to get an AAS in CJ if he already has one from Penn Foster?

If the same credits are used to fill the AAS in ESS that would have been used for an AAS in CJ, I don't see how the ESS would make much of a difference besides having a misleading title.

Right. I think I am not thinking right.

I think one regionally accredited Associate will do. Maybe I should stick to the original plan and get the AAS in ESS instead of the CJ if I have a CJ at Penn Foster anyways.

As far as I know since Penn Foster only has NA accreditation, TESC will not accept any degrees awarded from it. Instead, it will only accept individual classes that are approved of by ACE (see their National Guide). This means that not all classes which are part of a PF degree would necessarily transfer to TESC. That to me would be the key so anyone is free to get an Associate's at PF and TESC in the same subject.
