You need to take Alg I & II to get credit for MAT-121
Don't bother with Pre Algebra, as that is considered developmental at TESU, no credit.
Pre-Cal is MAT-129, but hasn't been confirmed (not a ton of people take it if they don't have to, and probably not through Shmoop.
Good evening!
Do you know if Mathematics 3 is confirmed as a transfer to TESU as PreCalc? Thanks in advance!

Professional Writing has come in for others as ENG-306 Intermediate Technical Writing & Professional Writing (which can be slotted as Eng Comp II).
You'll be the first for Economics 101 (which seems to be a hybrid of Macro and Micro, so I'm curious if it will meet either of those requirements) and Intro to Marketing (which will likely come in as MAR-201 Intro to Marketing.)
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

A lot of Econ 101 courses are Macro, and slotted that way, although it may not have enough of either, and so just come in as ECO-101 and not count for either. That would suck if you were a business major, although I guess it might make Macro and Micro each a little bit easier.

"Professional Writing has come in for others as ENG-306 Intermediate Technical Writing & Professional Writing (which can be slotted as Eng Comp II)."
Not according to TESU yesterday.
"The Shmoop University course, Professional Writing, will transfer as ENG-306, Intermediate Technical Writing, but does not satisfy the English Composition II requirement. If you wish to continue with it however, it will apply as a general education elective."
So....that's a bummer.

I've come to distrust advising on the pre-confirmation of courses as people seem to get a lot of contradictory information. One of the other folks on this forum just used Prof Writing for that within the last couple of weeks. It seems like the only way to be sure is to take a course and see where it is slotted, and then ask for it to be moved where you want it if it doesn't end up there on its own.

It came in as 'MAR-201 Principles of Marketing' for one of my free electives!
