Shmoop sent an email announcing its new look. I would say it is an improvement. The course list looks like study.com's course list.
https://www.shmoop.com/courses/
Here's a copy pasta of the original email:
"Our dearest Shmooper,
You are receiving this email because you have an account on Shmoop.com, giving you access to thousands of pages of amazing, Shmooptastic educational content!
Well, we have some exciting changes to announce.
Shmoop is getting a makeover!
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on a brand-spanking-new website. We’ve taken feedback from thousands of students and teachers (thank you to those who shared feedback!), and are reorganizing and rolling out some shiny new duds.
What this means for you:
The Shmoop you know and love will be easier to navigate, have cooler visuals, and fewer ads!
If you have questions, or want to write us love notes, please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@shmoop.com.
Oh, and don’t forget to click on over to our website to check out our new look!
Sincerely,
Your Shmoop team"

I only used them for 3 general education/free elective courses, it was when they first offered classes credit. I couldn't take anymore of their Shmoopiness even though the price was right - $25/month all you can take. It's good they're making changes... from proctoring to course structure, good for them.

COSC, Exclesior, I'm sure other ACE-friendly colleges that we haven't heard of around here.
