Hello,
I have my BSBA from Thomas Edison. I've used this forum over the years to help me with my BSBA degree and now I need help again! I wanted to know if anyone knew of any online colleges that are similar to Ashworth that offer cheap, online, self paced masters degrees in business. Also, is it possible to transfer over some of my Bachelors degree credits over to my Masters degree and save time? Thank you!
Vinny

WGU is self-paced, cheap, non-profit.
Patten University is self-paced, cheap, for-profit.
Capella has a self-paced, expensive option, for profit.
You might want to look at Hodges and UW Flex as well.

Thanks, I'll check out those. I'm new to the whole grad school thing and I've heard conflicting stories on transfer policies. Is it possible to transfer over BSBA courses over to a Business Masters degree?

You're not going to transfer undergrad courses to satisfy graduate courses.
However, a business undergrad may be a prerequisite for a business graduate degree in many situations.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if there was anything I could do to cut down on the time it takes to earn a Masters like I did with the Bachelors.

I enjoyed my experience at WGU. I like the layout/setup much better than patten's. I would personally choose any of the options mentioned over Ashworth strictly based on Ashworth being DEAC accredited and the others having regional accreditation.
The only other experience I have is with hodges admissions team, and they were super helpful and responsive. If you have any questions about either Patten, or WGU, feel free to shoot me a message.
Currently studying for: Still deciding.

Some MA programs may have prereqs, so they will list those courses as something you have to take, but if you have already taken them, then you're ok to skip them. For instance, APU's MBA program lists 3 courses that have to be taken first, BUT " Students who hold a degree from a School of Business accredited by ACBSP/AACSB (the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs, ACBSP, or the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB) may request a waiver review of these three courses through their Admissions representative."
So it might cut down the 39cr needed to graduate to 30cr if you had the requirements done. Since TESU is not AACSB or ACBSP accredited, you would be out of luck and have to take them.

You should look into the schools provided/mentioned in the thread as some of them will allow PLA for non core MBA courses.
That can shave off 3-9 credits and the degree will only take 30 credits to finish.
An example, Hodges will take your BSBA - Project Management course for exemption.
In total though, Hodges will only take in 6 from your BSBA and you'll only need 30 credits to finish their program.
For myself, the three i'm interested in are from Hodges, Patten, and WGU.
Not for that particular reason, but for the cost. Each degree can be under $4000!
