So a friend of mine was about to start the Saylor Business Management course when she ran into this:
Course Requirements close
In order to take this course, you must:
√ have completed BUS101.
Is this the case? Will they prevent you from taking the course and the final if you haven't completed BUS101?

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I don't believe so. I have a feeling it's just saying that in order to do well in the class, you should know the information contained in the BUS101 class. When I took Corporate Communications, it says under course requirements that you must have completed ENG001 and ENG002. I didn't take either of those classes from Saylor and I have already received credit from Saylor for the final exam. To be clear though, I had already taken the English CLEP before this course.
I would say if your friend feels like they understand the info contained in the BUS101 class, then they should be fine. At least in my experience, it wasn't a requirement to have completed the listed pre-reqs.
