Saylor - Global Understanding for COSC

Has anyone used Saylor Intro to Comparative Politics for the global understanding check box requirement? It's Pol 221 at Saylor.

The equivalency guide on Saylor says  "political science elective."

According to the General Ed Options for Global Understanding, political science courses can meet this requirement, so it looks like the Saylor course would work. 

Also looking at this forum member's evaluation at COSC, it looks like the Shmoop equivalent worked for them in Global Understanding.
