SafeAssign question

Hi all!

This is my first TESU course and I just submitted my first assignment using SafeAssign. I submitted it and then it said it was in draft so it then asked me to submit it as final (I think) so I did that and now it's sitting there saying :

SafeAssign Originality Report in progress...

It's been like that for at least an hour now...

Thinking about this, I'm guessing the correct way to have done this is submit it and wait for an originality report? Then submit to final?

But why is it sitting there saying originality report in progress??

In my experience with TESU courses, there's no originality report provided when you submit. You will receive a grade/comments from the professor after its graded.
1. Upload paper.
2. Asks for you to check the SafeAssign disclaimer.
3. Next pages shows draft, then you need to submit.
You won't be done until it says, submitted.

Once you submit it, does it say it’s waiting to generate the report? It’s been almost 18 hrs since I submitted and it still says that.

That's KOOKY!

When I was at GCU we used TurnItIn (I think that's what it was called). You submitted the paper, it checked it and gave you a report. You looked at the report, made changes and then resubmitted it.

Why wouldn't this be the same way? It seems stupid to not show you the results.

I saw results for my paper so I don’t know why you wouldn’t see any for yours. It was dumb anyway though as it marked stupid things like names of cities as belonging to other papers, but not whole or even partial quotes. I don’t know how it is for the new Capstone course, but for the old one, we only had the SafeAssign for that first paper.

Hi!!  This was my first assignment so I'm not sure what the rest of the papers require but I'm trying to work ahead in SOS-110 because I'm starting the capstone Nov 4th with Dr Hansen - WOOHOO!
