I requested to take SL Business Ethics and I got the following message from my adviser. Did anyone else got the following message from their TESC adviser?
"You can use the Straighterline course, Business Ethics, towards the Core requirement, section G. However, the College will soon stop accepting the transfer of this course as of August 31, 2015 (15 days from today). If you cannot complete and transfer this course before that date, we will not accept credit in transfer."

But they didn't just say they won't count it in G anymore - they said they won't count it at all anymore! So they won't count it as an ethics course either.

I just checked the ACE site, it is actually quite simple...the course approval expires Aug 31. I should have looked before typing up my long winded post.

So what is the clarification on this? I just took this course and sent the transcript on 8/14. So TESC will stop accepting this course August 31, 2015?

You will be fine. The ACE evaluation expires on 31 August, so they will not accept it from anyone who completes it AFTER that date. I expect that before it gets to that point we'll see the new evaluation reflected on ACE, as they did a 30-day extension already. There's a number of courses that show evals expiring on the 30th. I shot an email to SL and to ACE asking about it already, as I'm about to take Acct I/II, Macroeconomics, and possibly Bus Law. All of which show 9/30 as their expiration. While I plan to finish well prior, I want to be safe just in case I get stuck.
