Hi all,
Has anyone had to submit a presentation, instead of a paper, for a study.com course assignment? I'm assuming that you should narrate the slides (and thus need to buy a microphone), but the instructions aren't explicit.

I had to do a slide deck for their project management course. I didn't narrate, just followed the rubric and got an 88.

If you do have to narrate your slides (I did for my M.S.), since you are using a smartphone, couldn't you just record audio on it and send the file to your computer via e-mail or USB cable?

That’s great! My “proposal” includes a Battle of the Bands, which will encourage more attendance by giving bands incentives to invite more people, and maybe lower the entertainment cost. I have been thinking about this assignment in terms of what could be done in my area, which is heavy on college students, but I know that I need to quantify that for the SDC presentation.

Same. I didn't narrate. I just turned in the slideshow. To be honest, knowing I had a lot of cushion with the quizzes and exam, I made a really weak half-hearted effort and got a low score. But ultimately it went on my transcript as a pass/fail and wouldn't have mattered if I agonized to get an A in the grand scheme of things.

So I submitted the assignment sans narration yesterday & just got the grade back (less than 24 hours-impressed!). I got an 85 and there was no mention in the notes about it. Yay.
