Has anyone recently transferred the SAS Advanced Programmer Certificate from Coursera into TESU’s BA Computer Science program as an UL additional AOS elective? I emailed advising in November (and was careful not to mention anything about Coursera) and was told nothing transferred from the SAS Institute transferred to TESU. I know it’s listed in the wiki as transferring and I’m tempted to try it to gain some extra UL credit. I just wanted to see if anyone else had recently tried before I did. Thanks!

Please review this thread, particularly this link as it'll "link" you to the correct post/thread...

My advisor confirmed to me via email that this SAS Advanced Programmer Certificate can be transferred into TESU as CS UL AOS Electives. If you send the ACE link to your advisor, I'm sure he/she will confirm it can be transferred as well.

It transferred in as STA-399 for me. I never got the "correct" answer from my advisors. I went ahead and took the course and transferred it via Credly and got the UL credit as others had mentioned in the other thread.

How hard was the course? Did you have prior SAS knowledge? Did you take the Basic SAS course first?

I didn't have prior SAS knowledge but did have some SQL knowledge from some data analytics courses. I really enjoyed it, but would have been easier with a basic course first, especially if you don't have any existing SQL knowledge
